While the Cat's Away!

The mice will have so much fun playing with all of her toys! I didn't get around to snapping any pictures of it, but Alex and Maguire had a blast chewing on all of Ellie's My Little Ponies and baby dolls while she was at Grammie and Papa's. They also moved out of our bedroom due to a sudden need to wrestle ALL THE TIME while in the same crib. Time to separate the little hooligans.

So now we've got all three kids in the same bedroom. Crowded, yes, but for the time being necessary. Last night was our first time with all three in there, and it went surprisingly well. I think it helped that Ellie was exhausted from her vacation and didn't move a muscle all night. The boys did wonderfully, too -- slept from 8:30 to 4:00 without a peep, ate, and went right back to sleep until 7:45. Bliss!

Here are a few pictures of the boys in their new separate cribs. It is funny, they seem to start out the nap/night in the middle (grateful to be able to spread out, I'm sure), but by the time morning rolls around, they migrate to their normal corners of the crib.

"Ah, freedom to sleep without fear of being kicked in the head!"

Alex has also decided he needs to master crawling ASAP, so he has been busy rocking back and forth on hands and knees, launching himself forward and generally scooting everywhere. Yikes -- someone get us a whole lot of baby gates, stat!
